Kelvin Fong is the Executive Director in PropNex. He leads more than 2,400 real estate agents, by far the largest group of agents in PropNex. For the past consecutive eight years; 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015, he was also awarded the Champion Team Leader title, the highest accolade for a team leader. His group, Powerful Negotiators (previously known as Mega Force) has been achieving breakthrough sales figures consistently since 2007 to 2015. In 2015, his team production also increased by $20 million.

Kelvin is also a sought-after property consultant for investors interested in investing in Singapore properties. He counts some of the Who’s Who in the business world as his clients. He is known to help his clients minimise risks by leveraging on the most suitable loans available, while also maximising the profit potential of the investment. His expertise in analysing the market and the property investments has consistently translated huge profits for his clients. This is why when Kelvin shares his advice, his clients listen. In fact, new clients are constantly seeking him out for his advice.

As an accomplished entrepreneur, Kelvin is also the co-founder and Managing Director of Zest Consultants, a leading training company providing education for real estate agents and property investors who are interested to learn the strategies of investing safely and profitably. Kelvin has been featured as a property expert in numerous media including AM Live, Channel NewsAsia, Channel U & 8, 938LIVE, Radio 100.3, The Sunday Times (Me & My Money & Think page), Fortune Times, Property Report Magazine, Success in Real Estate and others. He has also been a featured speaker in iProperty.com EXPO, PropNex Convention 2007 and 2009, MENSA society, Wealth Academy & other property related events. Zest Academy was awarded the Promising SME 500 accolade in 2012, the SME One Asia award in 2013 and the SMEs Asia Award 2013/2014.

Kelvin started his career in the real estate industry in 2002 with his wife Janet Lim, a former air stewardess, after a six-year stint in the Republic of Singapore Air Force. Within just nine months the couple had achieved the Top Rookie title and were ranked as the 17th Top Producer in their previous company, before joining PropNex in 2003.

In 2004, as their team grew bigger, Kelvin and Janet started their own group called Mega Force (which is later known as Powerful Negotiators)

focusing on gaining market share in the HDB market. In contrast to the individualistic, to-each-his-own nature of the industry, they built their group on the foundation of open sharing, cohesive teamwork and synergy. This is because they strongly believe that by harnessing team synergy they can achieve more within a short period of time.

Their vision was proven right as the strategy paid off handsomely for them. Within just one year their group shot to the top within PropNex. Kelvin clinched PropNex’ Champion Team Manager in 2005 and was promoted to be the Champion Group Director in 2006. He also led his team to gain a foothold in the private property market and within just one year the group more than quadrupled its sales and achieved more than $10 million sales commission in 2007, a highly impressive achievement.

Even during the market crisis in 2008, Kelvin steered his group towards greater heights achieving over $13 million in sales commission. The following year, Powerful Negotiators brought in $28 million sales commission and achieved a 13% market share of the private resale market. For a single group to achieve such a high percentage of the private resale market is very significant. And in 2010, 2011 & 2012, the group has created another breakthrough achieving $39, $41 & $53 million sales commission respectively. During this time, his wife, Janet who is also a well-known figure in the property industry, achieved PropNex’ No.1 Individual Producer in 2009, 2010 & 2011.

To make it easier for his group agents to do their work well, Kelvin has also developed a proprietary online “RealTime” system that provides them access to real-time market data. This year 7th Aug 2013 marked the new chapter of our group as we have launched our new i-Deal PA and Clients Apps to help our agents to increase their sales without incurring any additional cost. This is an International namecard that will replace the traditional one because it provides concierge service for our clients. With this Apps, it will help his agents to be more professional and effective when dealing with their clients as they have critical market information at their finger tips. 

As a testament to his leadership, Kelvin has groomed 50 of his team managers to the post of Team Leader. He continues to grow his group and steers it towards even higher achievements.
